KayDavGroup is an industrial factory based in Cape Town, specialising in the trade and distribution of wood-based panels and packaging. They approached us with a clear goal: to reduce energy costs during operational hours.

Our solution was straightforward yet effective: a 100kW hybrid inverter combined with solar panels and batteries, designed to support their full energy load during the day and night. KayDavGroup chose to retain their Eskom connection and instead save on costs by reducing their reliance on grid power.

Since the system’s commissioning, they have successfully been operating as if completely off-grid, relying solely on the solar energy generated during the day.
