Delivering reliable power solutions.

Bergsig Wine Estate, located in the Breede Rivier valley, is a seven-generation family-owned wine farm, with a deep commitment to sustainable grape farming and wine production. Guided by the belief that “wine shouldn’t cost the Earth,” they partnered with 2Zero50 to embark on their renewable energy journey. Alongside sustainability, Bergsig sought the benefits of a reliable energy supply and reduced electricity costs.

Their renewable energy system comprises 208 solar panels, generating 115 kWp, mounted on their warehouse roof. It also includes 14 batteries with a storage capacity of 200 kWh and a 150 kW hybrid inverter. This system powers their wine cellar, bottling line, homes, workshops, and deli, ensuring seamless operations even during power outages.

Through this initiative, Bergsig Wine Estate showcases how 2Zero50’s expertly delivered renewable energy solutions can ensure reliable power, reduced costs, and seamless operations, even in challenging conditions.
