Located in Somerset West, The Flags is a spacious shopping centre that leases property to various store owners. As such, it only requires energy during the day when the stores are open.

To meet the energy demand during peak daytime hours, 2Zero50 designed a solution that involved installing a 200kW grid-tied inverter paired with 170kW of solar panels. Given that there is little load demand during the evening, no batteries or alternative backup systems were needed.

The Flags is highly satisfied with the outcome, and the system has been running smoothly since its commissioning.
